We’ve been named Best Overall Mountain in the Mid-Atlantic Region, and as soon as you set foot on Elk Mountain, you’ll understand why. With 180 skiable acres and 27 trails, skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels will feel right at home on the mountain. Come experience the Elk Mountain difference.
Lifts start loading at 8:30 a.m. each day. Ticket sales, rentals, ski school, and the cafeteria open at 8:00 a.m. each day. We close at 4:30 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and at 9:00 p.m. Thursday through Saturday when night skiing is scheduled. Please consult the hours chart above for more information.
We don’t have tubing.
Great local ski resort. All levels. Wonderful program for kids while parents ski. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I love this ski mountain with a passion. Everybody knows how to ski here and actually have a great time. You can get into an excellent rhythm of making runs and transforming into a better skier every time you go there. It’s pretty open so you can make a variety of turns and have fun.
