Ladies, Come Ski With Us!
Whether your goal is to master the mountain, conquer your fears or just have some fun, these days have been planned for you - beginner or advanced - by the professional women instructors of the Elk Mountain Ski School.
Our Women's Day Program, in its 16th season, has been a tremendous success, attracting women skiers of all ages and abilities (21 and over).
How's your skiing? Ask these questions:
- 1. Have you mastered the "bunny slope? but need a hand to tackle the intermediates? We know it's a big step and we will build your self-confidence with solid skiing skills beforehand.
- 2. Are you a "terminal intermediate?" We know improvement comes more slowly at this state. We will provide motivation and a personalized plan of attack to work your way to the black diamonds.
- 3. Do you ski everything but not without some apprehension? Our top level certified instructors can show you some pretty simple ways to improve your techniques and greatly expand your "comfort zone."
- 4. Ready for more of a challenge? How about bumps? Work on your rhythm and timing, balance and style.
Our day will begin with registration between 8:30 - 9:15 a.m. (Winter Garden Restaurant). Meet by the flagpole near the Children's Village to form groups. Skiing and instruction from 9:45 a.m. to 12 Noon. Complimentary light lunch in the Winter Garden Restaurant from Noon to 1:00 p.m. Skiing, practice, and personal critique from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. Social hour (complimentary drink) from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
$65 instruction only (season pass holders
$80 instruction and lift ticket
$90 instruction with rentals and lift ticket
